  • Director of Investor Relations

    Greater Boston

    Constitution Capital Partners is looking for a Director of Investor Relations to maintain investor relationships, respond to day-to-day inquiries and provide up-to-date information about recent developments within the firm.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of two IR Analysts with planned additions
    • Complete and review RFPs and questionnaires for investors
    • Proactively write and send time sensitive investor communications via CRM
    • Prep materials and background information for investor meetings
    • Develop new written materials, such as press releases, scripts and presentations
    • Manage CRM and quality check data input
    • Maintain pipeline for fundraises and report to Partners
    • Manage planning and execution of the Annual Meeting
    • Attend Investment Committee meetings and stay up to date on investments
    • Partner with firm’s CCO to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
    • Work cross functionally on ad hoc firm initiatives
    • Manage subdocument closing process

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields are a plus
    • 10 or more years experience dealing with institutional investors and HNW
    • Experience managing a team
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages
    • Detail oriented and motivated to make process improvements
    • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize the team when working under strict timelines
    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to train others

  • Fund Accountant

    Greater Boston

    Constitution Capital Partners is seeking a Fund Accountant to join our team. The Fund Accountant will assist with the reporting and operations related to CCP managed private equity funds. The Fund Accountant will be expected to play an active role on day-to-day operations and projects in the following areas:

    • Prepare quarterly financial statements
    • Maintain general ledgers and prepare quarterly workbooks
    • Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations
    • Prepare capital calls and distribution notices to investor
    • Prepare gross and net IRR calculations
    • Prepare management fee and fund level carried interest calculations
    • Assist with year-end audit process in collaboration with auditors

    The Fund Accountant position requires a detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, self-starter with a passion for the private equity sector. In addition, the individual must have:

    • Bachelors (or Master’s) degree in accounting/finance or relevant field
    • 2 years of prior private equity accounting experience

    • You will support and grow Constitution’s meaningful industry connections with financial professionals, advisors, and their clients.
    • You possess a deep understanding of private market products, trends, solutions, and competitive landscape.
    • You will perform as part of a sales team and will be responsible for the sales, development and day-to-day management of their geographic region.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Sales Generation: Drive sales of the Constitution Capital Access Fund, a registered private equity fund, in your region with a secondary focus on the private funds, Ironsides VII and Ironsides Opportunities Fund II, taking ownership of performance and goals.
    • Relationship Management: Solidify Constitution Capital’s existing relationships, bring new names and a robust professional network to the firm, and collaborate with Enterprise around regional events.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing consultative support to advisors, helping them effectively navigate our product offerings and grow their business; to support our external sales team by driving sales and building strong relationships with advisors.     Responsibilities

    • Work closely with external sales team members to develop and execute sales strategies within assigned territories.
    • Conduct proactive outreach to advisors to promote our products and drive sales.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and product education.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns raised by advisors.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient sales processes, including coordinating marketing campaigns and product launches.

  • Tax Director

    Role

    Constitution is looking for a Tax Director to join our team. The Tax Director will be responsible for oversight of all tax-related activities within CCP and ensuring that all matters related to taxes are handled promptly and accurately.

    Responsibilities

    • Be responsible for all ranges of tax related issues within CCP, including development of new tax strategies and policies.
    • Identify and proactively review all tax opportunities to minimize tax risks and leakage.
    • Provide firm leaders with tax planning, advice, and guidance with respect to different investment and corporate structures within CCP (e.g., 3c-7 funds, ’40 Act fund, partnership entities, etc.)
    • Act as a liaison with external tax preparers to manage the collection and distribution of tax information and provide oversight on appropriate tax treatment of investments and taxable income calculations.
    • Lead and support the financial statement audit process with external auditors around tax disclosures and applicable analysis. Scope of tax analysis includes but is not limited to the following: ASC 740 analysis, ROCSOP adjustments, taxable income/provision calculations, and assessment of deferred tax assets/liabilities.
    • Review and assess tax compliance for specialized situations including asset diversification and income qualification tests and excise distributions prescribed under Subchapter M.
    • Review allocations, withholding calculations, and other supporting information necessary to ensure timely production and filing of both federal and state income tax returns and extensions, along with coordinating any payments that are due. Tax forms include but are not limited to K-1s, 1099s, 1065s, and 1120/1120-RIC.
    • Analyze and respond to tax notices to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Perform high level reviews of tax research, tax workpapers/allocations and tax filings across various tax structures.
    • Maintain awareness of the current tax environment as it relates to the latest tax proposals, policies and industry viewpoints.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years’ experience in providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns (6+ years’ experience with investment management or partnership taxation)
    • Tax experience in ’40 Act/Private Equity strongly preferred.
    • Previous Big 4 experience or large CPA firm equivalent
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Master’s Degree in taxation, MBA, and/or CPA is desirable)
    • Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting
    • Strong understanding of technical partnership, ’40 Act, and corporate accounting and tax rules
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze tax issues.
    • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to conceptualize and execute multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills and ability to collaborate with various teams including accounting, tax, compliance and external auditors.
    • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment.
    • Experience managing and leading a team.
